-Working Time: Weekends Off, Mon-Fri 9AM-6PM

(no fixed working time during business trip)

-Business Trip Destinations: Shipyards in Nantong, Yangzhou, Taizhou            

Work Content

-Mainly work in Shanghai, and business trip to shipyards in Changjiang Delta region, to conduct new construction related survey work

-Primarily focused on marine vessels to include LNG/Gas Carrier, Container Ships, Tankers, and Bulk Carriers, as well as smaller vessel types as needed

-Performs routine/daily surveys on new construction vessels, platforms or other marine structures, to include shipyard patrolling and work environment assessments. May attend vendor surveys as directed.

-As a technical resource/specialist in the application of related rules, requirements, concepts, principles and processes associated with New Construction projects

-Engages in contact with clients in order to resolve problems within area of expertise.

-Prepares technically accurate and timely reports of all inspections and surveys performed.

-Maintains survey files in an orderly and up-to-date manner in area of responsibility.

-Maintains active awareness of new methods and developments affecting the technical scope of assigned survey responsibilities.

-Makes recommendations for changes in the survey process as warranted.

-Acts as a safety champion and ensures a high degree of safety awareness on the job with peers and clients.

-Recommend new approaches to problems encountered and makes changes in methods, procedures or design where necessary.

-In the course of surveyor attendance and as appropriate, promotes the services and capabilities of company to present and potential customers.  

Qualification&Requirements

-Experiences on huge Chinese/Japan/South Korea ships in priority

-Experiences in practical operations in priority

-Business Trip required

Compensation&Benefits

Salary USD 7-9k before tax per month
